We are working with an education provider in the
Birmingham area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Workshop
Trainer to join their engineering training team on a full-time,
permanent basis.
The job role would consist of you delivering
workshop-based training to Mechanical Engineering learners (up to
level 3) at the provider's dedicated engineering training centre in
Birmingham. They are able to consider candidates who have one or more
of the following skills: CNC operation, machining, mechanical
maintenance, fluid power, and bench fitting. The training delivery you
will deliver will revolve around your preferred skill set from the
list above.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a position at a longstanding and reputable training and education provider, who have lots of clients in the manufacturing industry. It is a full-time role, with general hours from 8am to 4:30pm. However, there is an early finish on Fridays as the centre closes at 1pm.
The training provider are offering a starting salary of between
32,000 and 34,000 per annum for this position, which would also
include a contributory pension, a health plan (including dental and
optical contributions), and 34 days holiday per year (including Bank
Holidays).
To be eligible for the position, you MUST
have:
-A level 3 Mechanical Engineering
qualification
-Industrial experience of hands-on Mechanical
Engineering work
