KPJ Group are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join chemical distribution company at their site based in Glossop .
The candidate we are looking for will possess prior experience operating as a mechanical fitter and will have served time as an apprentice.
What’s on offer?
- £36,200 per year
- Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
- Overtime available 1.5x
- Annual pay increases

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and schematics
- Assembling and disassembling mechanical components and machinery
- Installing mechanical equipment, such as pumps, motors, and valves
- Aligning and adjusting mechanical components to ensure proper operation
- Maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and machinery
- Troubleshooting mechanical problems and providing solutions
- Fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical components
- Operating hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, and saws
- Performing regular maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards
What do you need?
- Experience operating as a mechanical fitter
- Trained as an apprentice
- Chemical experience (desirable)
