We are looking for a Medical Interpreter to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:

Key Responsibilities

Accompany allocated clients during specialist medical appointments on an as needed basis and provide both verbal and written interpreter services

To stay with clients throughout their appointment.

Attend follow up appointments where appropriate.

Feedback to Medical department all relevant information relating to the patient's case

Communicate follow up appointment needs

Maintain strict confidentiality at all times

To be aware of and adhere to all of UKME's policies and procedures.

To comply with all Health and Safety regulations as governed by the Health and Safety at work Act 1974 (and any amendments).

Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities

Fluent in traditional Arabic language and English (both written and verbal)

Degree / qualification in Interpreting Services

Demonstrated Interpreter experience

Previous experience as a Medical Interpreter
