Requirements:
- Must have a background within one of the following: Educational & Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Systemic Family Therapists and Child and adolescent psychotherapists
- Substantial relevant working experience with children or young people (0-25) in health or educational setting
- Evidence of understanding of educational systems and practice in England.
- Previous experience in supervision preferably with CYP-IAPT Supervision training or experience of supervising clinicians/psychologists
- Recognized qualification in a specific model of therapy e.g. family therapy, CBT etc.
The Mental Health Support Team is expanding and aiming to recruit a new Team Manager on a part-time fixed term contract. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about enhancing early intervention around children and young peoples mental health.
The main duties of the team lead involves:
- Facilitating the establishment and management the team at an operational level
- Offering supervision and line management
- Working at a borough wide level to enhance the early intervention mental health support for Children and Young People.
- To oversee the formulation and intervention plans for schools, parents, children and young people being supported by the mental health support team using a range of specialist psychological knowledge and interventions appropriate to the service
The team sits within a well-established team of Educational Psychologists who are committed to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people in diverse and often challenging situations.
