We are truly responsible for the online face of the business and are the team who help fans discover and buy the tickets they just cannot miss out on.  As well as our core business with the Live Nation sites, we support and manage over 200 festival and venue websites, who work independently but within our framework and we are required to meet their needs whilst allowing them autonomy.

The Job

You will work with the senior designer, product managers, and front-end engineers to develop the Live Nation international design system, and develop new features for an in-house, white-label website platform. Other duties will include creating website themes and supporting the team with presentation design needs to internal/external stakeholders.

You have a promising portfolio of innovative websites and/or mobile app design work, demonstrating an excellent eye for detail and an understanding of what makes an easy-to-use digital product. Strong conceptual, design, and typography skills are expected. Experience with prototyping and UX research methods is a bonus.

You will be expected to prioritise within a busy environment, while having the willingness to learn and adapt to new business requirements. You will work with senior members of the team to champion our fans with a user-centric design approach.

You, in turn, will be rewarded with reaching over 60 million+ fans in 31 countries with your design decisions, collaborate with awesome co-workers and internal/external clients, and enjoy a social and supportive working environment with a top-notch benefits scheme.

What you will be doing

  • Help develop and maintain our UI pattern libraries across our international products.
  • Assist senior members of the team to develop complex product features on small to large-scale projects, across multiple work streams.
  • Help conduct user and competitive research to drive positive engagement.
  • Generate wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and other required documentation and work with development teams to bring them to life.
  • Conduct internal QA tests to ensure deliveries meet initial UX/design specifications.
  • Help senior members plan, execute, and analyze usability tests and maintain a database of test subjects.
  • Understand long-term vision and strategic business goals of the department.

What you need to know (or technical skills)

  • Good grounding in principals, methodology and practices of UX/UI design.
  • A strong understanding of typography, grid systems and layout.
  • Intermediate to solid understanding of capabilities and limitations of technologies that are used to create powerful digital experiences including HTML5 and CSS 3.
  • Industry experience with standard wireframing and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite, etc….
  • Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word is a must.
  • A qualification in a digital design discipline would be beneficial.
  • Experience with prototyping, branding design and basic video editing skills are nice to have but not essential.

You (Behaviours skills)

The following attributes determine how the role will be carried out and are required to be a success:

  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • A passion for interaction and user involvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • keen to learn new things and enjoys keeping up with best practices, latest digital design trends and front-end technologies.
