Role: Mobile Application Developer
Location: Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000.
Applause IT is recruiting for an experienced developer to join an acclaimed e-commerce consultancy in central Birmingham. Our client, winner of the fast-growth award at the West Midlands Business Masters Awards, excels in Shopify website development, and is now hoping to expand their team to bolser their mobile app development services. Our client empowers brands to flourish online , offering comprehensive support ranging from business consultancy to front and back-end development.
The experienced developer will be working on a range of new client projects, moving into the mobile application development space. Our client is looking for someone who has specific experience with website development using JavaScript and React, and ideally some exposure to iOS application development too. Applicants will be open to working in a fast-paced company and motivated to learn new skills, honing in on the development of mobile user interfaces.

- Developing mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Building internal products and client solutions.
- Coding bespoke features and critical system components.
The Requirements...
- Minimum 2 years' experience with React and JavaScript.
- Experience with React Native.
- Experience with Expo development and EAS build tools
- Familiarity with REST/GraphQL API integrations
- Basic understanding of native mobile development
Preferred skills...
- Shopify storefront API familiarity.
- AWS EC2 instance management and S3 storage experience.
- Debugging proficiency for iOS and Android applications.
