Job Title: Multi-Skilled Engineer (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing)

Position Overview:
They are looking for a dedicated Multi-Skilled Engineer who possesses expertise in carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks across various properties, ensuring that they are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carpentry:

    • Conducting repairs and installations of doors, windows, cabinets, and other wooden fixtures.
    • Performing framing, trim work, and finishing carpentry as needed.
    • Identifying and resolving issues related to woodwork and structures.
  2. Electrical:

    • Troubleshooting electrical systems and components to diagnose and repair faults.
    • Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
    • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations while working with electrical systems.
  3. Plumbing:

    • Repairing and maintaining plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
    • Identifying and resolving leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
    • Installing new plumbing systems and fixtures as required.
  4. General Maintenance:

    • Conducting routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
    • Performing preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of property assets.
    • Responding promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and materials used.
    • Providing detailed reports on maintenance findings and recommendations to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in carpentry, electrical work, and plumbing.
  • Relevant qualifications/certifications in carpentry, electrical installation, and plumbing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations within London.
