First Military
Recruitment are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Handyman on behalf
of one of our clients.
The successful candidate will carry out
electrical, plumbing and building fabric repairs across client sites.
This is a Nationwide role, but most contracts and sites are in the
Birmingham and M4/M3 corridor and London areas. Applicants will be
required to travel to projects within the UK with overnight lodging
provided when the project requires.
Our client encourages
applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be
given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical, plumbing and building fabric repairs.
- To carry out all works in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained to maximise the operational effectiveness.
- Adherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.
- To ensure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation.
- To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all maintenance issues.
- Manage contractors where required.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Multi-trade experience
- UK Driving Licence
