3 Shift Rotating Pattern - Monday to
Friday Only
Beenham, Berkshire
£53,130 base salary (inclusive
of shift allowance) + overtime + benefits
Overtime is paid at x1.5
for Monday - Saturday, and x2 for Sundays and bank holidays

What's the role
about?
Working as part of a skilled Engineering team,
your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous running of
the production process by eliminating downtime through a safe and
logical approach to fault finding and maintenance of
equipment.
You’ll be involved in a variety of engineering
tasks, ensuring a proactive approach to preventing equipment failure.
Working on various types of equipment including complex hydraulic,
pneumatic, and electrical/electronic control systems, you’ll be
responsible for carrying out a range of planned and reactive
engineering activities on site.
Working 42 hours per week
from Monday to Friday, you'll be on a 3-shift rotation covering days
and nights, the shift pattern will follow an earlies (5:30AM-2:30PM),
Nights (10:00PM-6:00AM) and afters (13:30PM-10:30PM) rotation. The
hours hours on a Friday are slightly different. Earlies
(06:00AM,-12:00PM), Nights (18:00PM- 04:00AM), Afters
(12:00PM-18:00PM)
What are the required skills?
- Apprentice-trained Engineer to NVQ Level 3 standard in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Good working knowledge of electrical/mechanical engineering within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment
- PLC fault finding skills are beneficial, with knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC desirable
- A flexible approach to varying work activities including production requirements
- Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
- A clear passion for engineering with a desire to learn and grow in the role
