Music Team Booking Agent

Ronnie Scott’s is looking for an ambitious music booking agent with a background in live music promotion and programming, marketing, and events. 

This busy, varied, and interesting role will play a pivotal part in the music team at Ronnie Scott’s. The successful candidate must be energetic, ambitious, creative, have an eye for detail with excellent communication skills.  

Candidates may have worked in festivals or other venues in the UK, booked external shows or have been part of an organisation such as Live Nation, Boiler Room, Dice, Sofar Sounds, Serious etc. 

The successful candidate will be able to represent Ronnie Scott’s to both new and existing clients.

Understanding the complexities of booking in the vibrant London market where there are other presenters such as Jazz Café, The Forge, 91 Living Room, Koko, Pizza Express and more, is highly desirable.

A good knowledge of show promotions in external events and productions with a marketing background. A passion for live music and jazz is essential.

Duties include:

·        Contributing to the music programme at Ronnie Scott’s including main shows and late shows and having a key role in developing the music programme for Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s.

·        Programming external events and driving sales

·        Sourcing artists, negotiating fees/programming to budgets, and liaising with agents

• Assisting with current marketing and promotions including planning and scheduling social media posts
• Improve reach and develop new audiences.
• Liaising with our PR company, create press listings, organise posters and adverts
• Collating marketing materials for website, market research and contacts database
• Support on targeting marketing for individual shows and event strands
