TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Colchesterbased secondary school in need of a Music teacher to join their arts department permanently from September. The school has an amazing track record of providing high standards of excellence and exclusivity. The school also boasts a fantastic array of opportunities both in and outside of lessons to help achieve their students potential and develop the skills necessary for employment and life.

The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic and driven Music teacher to start in Sept, but potentially do some cover work before then. The successful applicant will be working across both key stage 3 / KS3 and Key stage 4 / KS4, including lesson planning as well as exam preparation for GCSE’s. The applicant must be able to engage their students through engaging and dynamic learning, which will be paramount in helping achieve excellence. 

The successful Music teacher will have:

-          QTS with Music specialism

-          Experience teaching Music up to key stage 4

-          Comfortable and able to plan/prep lessons

- Excellent classroom management
