PS Technical Consultant (II)
Role Description
Consultant within UK professional services. In this role you will be responsible for the helping create customer requirements and then implementation, configuration, and support of various products in NCR Atleos portfolio. You will be working with a team of seasoned professionals in the banking and self – service industry. You will work closely with customers and their IT and Business teams to ensure timely delivery of projects as well as exceptional level of support.

• Be a self-starter, able to use his/her own initiative to get things done.
• Be reliable, enthusiastic and have a ‘can-do’ attitude towards achieving the team’s objectives.
• Be passionate about technology and how it can be used to “make the everyday easier”.

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience working within self-service environments.
• Good understanding of Software Development and Quality Assurance best practices
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Availability to travel (up to 10% of the time, usually for short durations)
Desirable Skills:
• Understanding of API services.
• Understanding of the need for quality throughout a project lifecycle
• Experience with tools like GitHub, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Experience with PowerShell.
• Experience operating in an Agile development environment and familiarity with Scrum methodologies.

Department Working Arrangements
The job will be based NCR Atleos offices in Dundee. Working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start and end times are flexible whilst adhering to core hours of 9:30 till 16:00. The candidate should be flexible in terms of occasional work outside of regular office hours.
