Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to work with business teams, business analysts, and project managers in the timely analysis, development, enhancement, and maintenance of in-house applications and associated environments, including adherence to the organisation’s software development lifecycle processes and procedures.

Essential

• Good understanding of specialty insurance & reinsurance concepts within the London markets.

Application development skills including:

• Agile methodology
• .Net Framework to version 4.8
• C# to version 12
• .NET Core (Version 2 to 8)
• ASP.Net
• Test Driven Development
• MVC
• Angular to version 16
• Microsoft SQL Server (database design, stored procedures, views, etc.)
• Microsoft Visual Studio and related Microsoft application development technologies
• Build and Release pipelines.
• Azure platform development
• Azure DevOps experience
• Ability to write/interpret technical documents.
• Ability to work well within and across teams.

• ARM/Bicep Azure template deployments.
