Location: Leeds, UK


Start Date: ASAP


Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (preferred hours Monday Wednesday Thursday 14:00-19:00, Tuesday or Friday 9-14:00)


About Us:


We are a friendly family based in Leeds, seeking a caring, experienced, and energetic nanny to join our family and provide exceptional care for our three children aged 5, 3, and 1 year old. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about childcare, reliable, energetic and able to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our children to grow and thrive.


Driving license is not required.


Key Responsibilities: welcoming kids from school, serving the food (cooking is not required, some basic skills for preparing healthy snacks are needed), preparing kids for school (reception homework), organising indoor activities (there is a big house and a nice size garden with a big climbing frame), bathing the older kids and preparing them for bedtime. Light houseworkings such us tidying up kids’ stuff, making their beds, emptying/loading the dishwasher, folding their laundry would be essential.


Childcare: Provide full-time care for our three children, including preparing healthy meals, organizing creative activities and playtime, and facilitating nap times.

Educational Activities: Assist with age-appropriate educational activities that promote our children’s physical, social, and intellectual development.

Safety and Well-being: Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times, both at home and during outings.

Routine Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and orderly environment for the children; this includes tidying up after activities, organizing play areas, and managing children’s laundry.

First Aid: Ability to administer first aid as needed. Paediatrician first aid certification is mandatory.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a nanny or childcare provider, with references.

Mandatory first aid certification.

A strong understanding of child development in different age stages.

Ability to plan, organise, and multitask with minimal supervision.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine love for children and a patient, nurturing demeanor.

Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this check).
