National Account Executive

  • West Yorkshire
  • £40,000 - £45,000 Basic Salary
  • 20% annual bonus
  • Excellent benefits including up to 12% pension contribution, private healthcare and flexible benefits


Background:

With operations globally and a heritage dating back centuries, this business is a supplier to some of the world's largest and most renowned food & drink manufacturers.


Specialising in the growing and manufacturing of flavours and ingredients they are looking for an ambitious Commercial Account Manager to join the European sales team.

This is a brilliant opportunity to embark on a structured career path that could lead in many different directions.


Working closely with the European Head of Sales the Commercial exec will work with and support the Sales, Marketing and supply chain functions which in turn will provide great exposure to many parts of the business.


Opportunity:

· Handle new customer queries and requirements providing a first-class customer experience

· Proactively develop an in-depth understanding of the full product portfolio enabling you to consult effectively with new and existing customers

· Proactively manage a designated set of wholesale and distributor customers

· Manage the Sales & Operations process for key customers ensuring that all updates are provided in line with the Supply Chain timeframe

· Ensure regular and ad hoc sales and pricing reports are generated as required

· Work closely with the European GM to provide accurate data and insight to ensure effective decision-making across the team.



The breadth this role provides will enable the successful applicant to progress their career in multiple directions, whether that be Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain. Both the UK and internationally.


You:

· Strong level of education

· Previous experience working in a commercial role, ideally within a Food & Beverage, FMCG or B2B company

· Brilliant communication and interpersonal skills.

· First-class organisational and project coordination skills

· Strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to new software processes.

· Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage pressure to meet deadlines.

· Must be ambitious for yourself and the company you represent.
