Job Title: Account Manager

Location: London/ South East England National Account manager Superdrug

Job Description

An opportunity to be part of the expansion of Galderma’s consumer brands portfolio within Superdrug based in London or South East England. We are looking for an experienced National Account Manager,  to be responsible for driving retail sell-out, growing market share & managing your P&L down to gross Margin for Galderma. You will take ownership of managing the brand strategies within Superdrug and identifying opportunities for growth, with a particular focus on differentiation and profit protection

Key Responsibilities       

  • Implement Sales / Direct Sale plans and processes to maximize sales opportunity through promotion and sale of technical and/or nontechnical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers
  • You will be the key point of contact with Superdrug buyers on your category and building strong relationships with your counterparts
  • Track and monitor lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline
  • Implement and execute Sales / Direct Sales processes and policies ensuring product/brand sales volumes and profit targets are met
  • Collaborate on Sales / Direct Sales activities informing customers of new product/service introductions and prices
  • Prepares presentations and concepts to be presented to the functional community or leadership team
  • Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with Galderma managers
  • Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and guide and provide solutions to customers and key stakeholders
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the marketplace, brands and customers to ensure effective market intelligence

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree level education (Commercial education, e.g., business, economics, administration preferable but flexible)
  • Experience in Account Manager ideally in beauty industry
  • Self motivator and autonomous with strong planning skills to maximise results to achieve KPI’s
  • Passionate about the beauty industry and always ahead of the game with industry trends and innovation
  • Commercial acumen supported by excellent negotiation skills and good relationship building
  • The ability to listen and interact effectively with different interpersonal styles, communicating clearly and concisely
  • Able to travel weekly to South London
  • A full driving license is essential for the position
