Network Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a talented and experienced Network Infrastructure Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our network infrastructure across a leading multi-academy trust. As a key member of the Infrastructure team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of the network infrastructure.

Salary: Up to 57,000 per annum
Duration: Permanent
Location: South London

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Designing, planning and implementing network infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of the academies
• Managing and maintaining network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance and availability
• Implementing and enforcing network security measures to protect against cybersecurity threats
• Collaborating with other IT team members and academic staff to understand requirements and provide technical support
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve network infrastructure

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong experience in a senior/lead/management Networking position
• Expertise in Cisco and/or Aruba networking technologies
• Strong understanding of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs
• Experience with network security technologies, such as firewalls and VPNs
• Strong stakeholder management skills to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical end users
