This is a regional position covering the West of Great Britain, covering Manchester, Liverpool, North Wales to Staffordshire. As a New Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing a pipeline of new business opportunities.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Contributing and delivering against the new business strategy based on relevant insight, market trends and research.
  • Proposing profitable new business commercial strategies aligned to sector plans.
  • Managing key internal relationships in order to drive optimum sales pipeline processes.
  • Promoting strong relationships with Business Development Manager’s to create effective joint win strategies.
  • Being strategic in their approach to customer acquisition, to promote the Arco brand and proposition at all levels within our customers business.
  • Orchestrating relevant internal and external resources to deliver new business. 
  • Developing, and driving a tailored value proposition for target customers.
  • Driving your personal development plan in order to better understand the customer H&S requirement.
  • Utilising relevant technology and tools to enhance the sales process and ensure up to date and accurate data

The ideal New Business Development Manager will be/have:
  • A proven track record in national account management, sales and profit generation
  • Excellent negotiation skills, comfortable in dealing with complex corporate accounts.
  • Strong understanding of the drivers of key account relationships and proven ability to demonstrate value added propositions.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of market and competition
  • Ability to analyse detailed sales and P&L data to inform sales strategy, utilising all available sales and reporting tools.
  • Excellent presentation skills to be able to present the benefits and services of Arco to a large audience.
  • Proven track record in delivering results through matrix management.
  • High situational awareness in order to adapt sales methodology (ie Challenger Sales)
