Full Job Description

Night Ambulance Crew 
£23,563 per annum (£11.77 per hour) plus shift premium and benefits  
38.5 hours per week, Full Time Nights, 4-on 4-off shift pattern 20:00-08:00 
North Wales & Chester Mortuary, Deeside

 

 

 
In this Night Ambulance Crew role, you can expect to: 
  • Carry out support activities at the funeral home, including the care and preparation of the deceased 
  • Work closely with the wider team to ensure a clear handover for daytime colleagues 
  • Update and maintain records on both written and digital platforms in line with processes and regulations 
  • Report to the Care Logistics Manager, carrying out any requests as instructed 
This Night Ambulance Crew role would suit someone with the flexibility to work at night. You must have no problems with manual lifting or health issues that might prevent you from doing so. You’ll also need: 
  • A calm approach in sometimes distressing situations, with the ability to think on your feet 
  • A full UK manual driving licence 
  • The ability to take instructions and follow them to the letter, with great attention to detail

As part of your application you’ll need to complete an online assessment. It will take you around 12 minutes to complete this test. 

 
If you’re successful in your application, we’ll perform some background checks as part of our pre-employment screening process.
