Non-Residential teaching positions available for summer school in London, and other locations in the UK and Ireland .

MLA is
currently recruiting professional EFL teachers for residential and
non-residential Easter and Summer posts in the UK and Ireland.
Experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work with young
learners/teens and see how they develop their communication skills and
enjoy a life-changing learning experience.
Contracts available for Easter; April 2nd to 19th (UK ONLY: Dover residential and Non-Residential; London Dulwich Non-Residential) ; and Summer from mid to late June through to mid-August for 2-4 weeks with the possibility of an extension
Locations: Central London, London
Uxbridge, London Richmond, London Guildford, Reading, Worcester,
Dover, Edinburgh, Dublin, and Galway.
At MLA we have been running successful language courses for Italian students in the UK, Ireland, and USA since 1976. You will be delivering high-quality and communicative EFL Task Based lessons as part of a teaching team in one of our centres. Lessons will include engaging activities to help students develop their skills and, most importantly, learn by doing while speaking in English!
Residential staff work a 6-day week
with one 24-hour period off per week. This includes 6 hours of
teaching per working day, preparation time and some administrative
duties (such as reports, meetings, records). You will not be required
to go on excursions, join activities or any pastoral care outside your
teaching and admin hours. However, you are welcome to join our
students and activity leaders in fun activities if you like. Summer
programmes are hard work, and you might, exceptionally, be requested
to assist outside your working hours.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
· Non-Residential UK: Gross up to GBP 673 per week plus
holiday pay of 12.07% (GBP 743).
· Non-Residential Ireland:
Net up to EUR 673 per week.
· Hourly rate GBP/EUR 15 to
GBP/EUR 16 plus 15% to 17% to cover administrative duties based on
qualifications and experience.
· Returning teachers will
receive a bonus of GBP/EUR 150 after completing their full contract.
Example: If you complete 36 teaching hours at a rate of EUR 16 per hour, the total payment would be EUR 576 for teaching hours, with an additional 17% (EUR 97.92) allocated for the corresponding administrative duties. In this case, the full net amount would be EUR 673.
