Job: Numeracy Co-ordinator

Salary: MPS / UPS (outer London) + TLR 2b
Aston Education is working with an 11-18 secondary school in Waltham Forest, East London, looking for a full-time permanent Numeracy Co-ordinator to start in September 2024.
The Numeracy Co-ordinator will have a clear vision to promote Numeracy across the Curriculum and is responsible for developing policy, strategies and programmes to ensure students make exceptional progress in numeracy. The postholder will raise expectations and aspirations of all students to foster a positive approach to numeracy.
Your responsibilities include working alongside the SiC Math to build partnerships with Primary colleagues to support in the transition of students within Maths from KS2-3 and liaising with the SENCO to implement effective “catch-up” programmes for students in Year 7 who have low-level numeracy skills. You will teach Maths to KS3, KS4 and possibly to KS5.
The Numeracy Co-ordinator will have QTS/QTLS and a degree in Maths.
