Position Summary:

Equum Medical is an Acute Care Telehealth company, enabling access to specialty care across a variety of clinical settings. We understand the urgent need for Acute Care Telehealth and the difficult challenges hospitals face filling gaps in coverage, improving the lifestyle of their on-site clinicians, and extending patient care in specialty areas.

For over 10 years, Equum Medical has been staffing board certified Critical Care Physicians with an average of six years of tele-critical care experience in remote monitoring. We've enabled numerous hospitals and health systems to care for many patients, improve patient care, and deliver a positive financial impact.

General Overview
Under the direction of the CMO, the provider will work within a small team at a local community hospital supporting the physicians with patient care. This can be either a full time or part time role.

Local Community Hospital in Dover, NJ 

  • Round and cover 7-11 patients
  • Clean NJ license NP/ PA-C with DEA
  • 4-6 shifts for part time and 14-15 shifts for full time
  • Assist physicians with care
  • No procedures
  • Support of other specialties
  • Malpractice and tail insurance covered
  • Daytime shift 7am-7pm
  • EPIC EMR

Qualifications

  • NJ license in good standing
  • DEA certificate in good standing
  • Applicable professional certification and licensure in good standing
  • Critical care experience required.
  • At least 1 year of acute care experience.

Education

  • Graduation from an accredited NP or PA program. 

Training / License

  • License and current registration issued by appropriate NJ License as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant or eligibility to obtain license along with a DEA license. 

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Position is in a hospital or health system setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions.
  • Position includes prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Position includes prolonged periods of time standing and walking.

In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible 401k, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements). Total compensation is based on several factors, including type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
