Nursery Practitioner Level 3 – Term Time Only
Location: Catford SE13
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
Hours: 9am – 2pm Monday – Friday
Salary: £13 – £14 an hour
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join their vibrant and friendly Day Nursery in Catford.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering a high standard of childcare and looking after the day-to-day needs of children aged 18 months to 5 years.
- Creating fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities for children while adhering to the EYFS and Ofsted statutory guidance.
- Communicating productively with pupils, colleagues, and parents.
- Keeping a record of the children’s progress to share with the parents and other carers.
- Providing support to other nursery staff members and working collaboratively with them.
- Maintaining high standards for safety, cleanliness, and hygiene, as well as following child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
Requirements:
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified to Level 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable )
- Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS – Early Years Foundation Stages (desirable)
