Full Job Description
Role: Nursery Practitioner - Level 2 or 3
Location: Wimbledon Area
A local Nursery is seeking a
Qualified Practitioner / Early Years Educator to join their team.
The nursery welcomes children aged between 3
months and 5 years old and is open 51 weeks a year from 7.30am to
6.30pm. The shifts will be between these hours.
There is an the opportunity to work 4 or 5 days.
The Nursery is in a lovely building with a
great outdoor learning space.
We are
currently seeking to bring a Level 2 or 3 qualified nursery
practitioner in the team who is passionate about childcare and who can
play a key role at this exciting stage of our growth.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and implementing activities for the children
- Ensures a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for all children
- Be a Key Worker and support key children
- Actively promote and support safeguarding
- Adhere to policies and procedures
- Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members
- A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and helping them to reach their potential.
