Full Job Description

We now have an opening with our client for an Occupational Therapist to join on an initial 3-month contract. There is a possibilitythis will be extended further.

Your main purpose in this role is toundertake Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions within the London area.

Principal responsibilities:

• Work as part of the Reablement service ensuring compliance with CQC requirements.
• Manage hospital discharges process, assessing risk and activities of daily living
• Assess and advice services users on all aspects of activities of daily living seeking at all times to maximise independence and seek creative home based alternativesto admissions to care home or hospital
• To be able to record using MOSAIC
• To complete full OT assessments within national and local targets.
• Manage and provide community paediatric occupational therapy, including assessments and technical support.

Key skills/experience required:

• Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist
• Previous experience of recordings using MOSAIC is desirable
• Working with local authorities is advantageous
