Full Job Description

Our client, a freight forwarder is looking for an Ocean Import Operator to join their office in Basildon.

They will also consider a trainee for this position. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

• Handling daily import operations ( FCL/LCL )
• Prepare and submitting customs entries Via Chief (Knowledge of what required at least)
• Experience with CNS and Destin8
• FCL knowledge (Our Inhouse software provider)
• Liaising with clients regarding documents, delivery and charges
• Contacting new clients directly about the business & Existing
• Exploring new opportunities for lanes and activities with clients.
• Addressing customer issues effectively and escalate as necessary, ensuring a resolution or follow up.
• Managing key accounts
• Arranging releases, BOL lodgement and payment of charges
• Invoicing jobs
