Looking for an opportunity within a business that offer a genuine ‘people first’ culture?      Here at Chubb Fire & Security we have an opportunity for an Operations Administrator  to join our Business Support Team at our Head office in Blackburn  (BB1 2PR) on a full time, permanent basis.

Job Description

What You’ll be Doing As An Operations Administrator

As an Operations Administrator you will support our wider Operations and Leadership teams with a variety of tasks. From arranging meeting facilities and making travel arrangements, to the creation of engaging internal newsletters and preparation of PowerPoint presentations.

  • Providing administrative support to the sales and training functions, including creation and maintenance of employee training records  
  • Arrangement of training courses and applications for required Health & Safety certifications/accreditation
  • Booking event locations and accommodation for attendees
  • Collating information and creating informative and engaging presentations via PowerPoint
  • Creating engaging Newsletters & Bulletins using MS Sway
  • Recording of timesheets/overtime, expenses and mileage
  • Making travel arrangements in the UK and overseas
  • Arrange equipment, uniform/PPE for new starters

This is a varied role where no two days are the same.

Qualifications

What We Would Like You To Bring

You’ll be an excellent administrator with a flexible approach. Coupled with a strong, demonstrable creative flair with experience of using Microsoft platforms:

  • Effective Communicator - With an ability to build rapport with your colleagues
  • Creative – You’ll have an opportunity to create Newsletters, Bulletins and Slide-Decks for our leadership team
  • Prioritise Workloads  – You’ll work with a number of stakeholders at any one time
  • Highly Organised – You’ll have day to day tasks to organise and process, alongside other urgent ad hoc requests
  • Detail Orientated - You'll be creating and maintaining records
  • Advanced IT literacy  - Microsoft Office 365, Excel & Power Point. Knowledge of MS Sway and Forms would be advantageous

SALARY:   Up to £24,000 per annum
