Expro is excited to be supporting its technology progression to automation on the rig floor by recruiting a forward thinking and motivated TRS Operations Engineer to join the Well Construction team. Open to applicants residing in ESSA region with flexibility to travel essential.
Successfully deploy proprietary Expro TRS technology throughout the region by liaising with the client on technical scope and working to design the equipment package required. Continue to work with the client and internal teams to project manage successful operational deployment in the field.
- Review client scopes and be comfortable designing an equipment package to run the TRS scope.
- Understand the operating parameters and technical interfaced of Expro equipment and be comfortable advising client or technical sales on the application parameters.
- Conduct rig surveys for new project startups, designing interfaces, calculating operating parameters.
- Be comfortable attending and leading deployment of proprietary technology at client DWOP/CWOP/SIT’s.
- Oversee operational delivery of new technology, including of remote and automated technology to the rig site.
- Ensure that all operations are designed to deliver professional, efficient, safe, quality service to the client.
- To develop, support, mentor and handover projects to in Country Ops teams.
- Develop presentations on technical advantages of equipment and be comfortable presenting these to clients or peers.
- Host technology awareness sessions to educate clients and/or Expro colleagues on equipment applications.
- Previous industry experience within Operational and Engineering Environment
- Hold a Professional Technical Qualification preferably with Hydraulic, pneumatic and electro/hydraulic control.
- Ability to project manage to time and budget
- Proficient in MS Word, Data Bases and PowerPoint
- BOSIET and Offshore Medical preferred
