Opportunities for Education Researchers within Southeast Asia

Education Development Trust has a longstanding commitment to improving education outcomes and supporting sustainable change in the Middle East and Asia. From our regional bases in Dubai and Brunei Darussalam, we support important education reform and teacher recruitment projects for government and NGO clients across the Middle East. Due to continued expansion and upcoming projects, we are currently seeking experienced education research consultants within Southeast Asia to join our Research Talent Pool and provide specialist expertise on future research-based projects.

We would be keen to hear from you if you have:

• A master’s degree in education and/or Degree level qualifications in a relevant subject (including research methods module)
• Demonstrable ability to convey information effectively and clearly through written text.
• Experience conducting research in different contexts, including education in low-income countries.
• Experience of analysis and presentation of data to non-technical audiences.
• Experience in preparation of reports which are objective and accessible.
• Strong exposure to education practices in Southeast Asia
• Practical knowledge and understanding of social science research methods and analysis.
• Practical knowledge and understanding of education policy and / or practice and good technical knowledge in at least two key educational policy areas such as education for marginalised children, gender.
