About the role
Drive continuous improvement by evaluating, streamlining, and simplifying Innovation and Project Management processes. Optimize global innovation stage gate process and train global colleagues. Implement global project management standards and ways of working and lead a Project Management Community of Practice.
Role Responsibilities
Partnering with PM leaders and project managers drives efforts to identify, evaluate and then embed project management best practices from Global Categories and Business Units across the organization as part of overall business capability building.
Facilities PM Leader connections, driving focus on cross-team and non-innovation PM development assignments, portfolio system data integrity, and process and ways of working consistency.
Drives improvements and simplification by developing and implementing new innovation process tools and ways of working into Business Unit and Global Category project management teams and/or the enterprise.
Gathers innovation stage gate and project ways of working feedback from all functions and leads process optimization, playbook updates and training.
Partners with PMs to maintain a Community of Practice made up of all innovation PMs focused on capability building and best practice sharing, providing inspiration for personal growth and development.
Job Related Skills and Experience
Proven delivery of effective project management across a range of project types and complexities. Has held project management and/or leadership positions in organizations of comparable size.
Understanding of all the key innovation business processes and functions within a global healthcare company.
Negotiation skills and ability to influence with or without authority at levels above and below own grade level.
Interaction with Region, Business Unit and Global Category leaders to gather feedback and influence process change through the innovation community.
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors in Science, Business
5+ years experience in Marketing, Supply Chain or R&D including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in Science, Business
10+ years experience in Marketing, Supply Chain or R&D including Project Management in a consumer healthcare environment or related area (e.g., CPG, pharmaceutical, etc.).
This position is a grade: 6 This position is located: Weybridge or LondonCare to join
