Location:

Salary: 41.07 p/h PAYE
/ 53.99 p/h Umbrella (inside IR35)
Term: 12 Month
contract likely to extend
The role: Exciting opportunity for a skilled Package Manager to lead multidisciplinary work packages in Cumbria's nuclear sector, ensuring seamless delivery from design to commissioning while maintaining rigorous quality and budget standards.
Duties/Responsibilities may include:
- Management of work packages/systems and support to the BEPDT Management Team in the successful delivery of the BEP project for the client.
- To coordinate the delivery of multidisciplinary work packages through all phases of the project, i.e. engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
- To assume 'cradle to grave' accountability for a work package
- Ensure all changes are identified and managed, and configuration control is maintained,
- Lead the package team to ensure key project milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
- To act as key contact for and manage interfaces with external Subcontractors and design houses engaged
- Manage external contracts in support of package implementation
Skills, experience & qualifications:
- Experience of managing packages of work on EPC projects or similar
- Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects
- Experience in Project / Customer Reporting
- Qualification in Project Management preferable
- Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience in Mechanical and/or EC&I services.
- Experience within nuclear sector
- Hold a minimum HND or equivalent
