Contract: Permanent, working Monday-Thursday 06:00-18:00, Wednesday- Friday 18:00-06:00 rotating

Our client, one of the UK’s leading food manufacturers operating throughout the UK from several well invested sites, supply premium quality products to major retailers.

Our clients’ products are synonymous with great taste, exciting innovation and value.

Due to growth our client wishes to secure services of competent Packaging Operatives at their site based in Lincolnshire.

The role

Reporting to the Shift Manager you will be responsible for running a packing line incl. product feed, bagging, technical checks and recording palletization, and finished product transfer to warehouse via FLT, creating stock (finished product and WIP) on CEMEX (stock system), capture, segregation and transfer of waste for rework.

This is a fantastic and an exciting opportunity for an individual who enjoys being hands on, enjoys working in a fast paced environment and has a great eye for detail, as well as having the desire and determination to assist with the future plans of this growing business.

The person

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a Manufacturing background, preferably within Food or FMCG industries, have constant drive, enthusiasm and self-motivation with ability to motivate others and have the ability to work under pressure.  Food Safety L2 (preferred but not essential) and also FLT license/ Certificate, awareness of BRC, IOSH work safety.
