Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: £33,000 plus company vehicle

Primary responsibilities: 

You will be responsible for maintaining the hotel décor across a specific region to deliver a great experience to our guests and create a rewarding place to work for employees.  Works include surface preparation and painting to all areas of the hotel including bedrooms, corridors, public areas, back of house & external.

• Undertake planned painting & decorating works across multiple hotels within a geographic region.
• Support the Regional Property Manager with planning works across the region to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Be self-motivated and the ability to use initiative to make onsite decisions.
• Work collaboratively and courteously with the hotel teams, to plan works accordingly and ensure rooms are returned to sale in a timely manner.
• Self-motivated interest in learning, utilising the broader Property and Maintenance network to develop self and others.

Previous experience: 

• Demonstrable experience in painting & decorating, ideally in a customer facing environment.
• Knowledge of basic wall repairs, full preparation and finishing to a range of surfaces including plasterboard, textured ceilings, timber and metal.
• Organised, methodical and logical approach.
• Maintains a safe and tidy work area.
• Demonstrates a fine attention to detail.
• Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to prioritise works.
• NVQ Level 2 Painting & Decorating or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.
