Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of industrial staff throughout South Yorkshire, is currently seeking a number of enthusiastic Parcel Sorters for our valued client based in Chapeltown (S35). Immediate start dates and ongoing opportunities are available for successful applicants.

Parcel Sorter Job Description:

As a Parcel Sorter, you will play a vital role in the efficient sorting and distribution of parcels within the warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting parcels into postcode areas, ensuring accurate placement for loading onto trailers and subsequent dispatch. You will be expected to work in a safe and efficient manner, perform general warehouse duties, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of manual handling and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift parcels weighing up to 25kg.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse environment is desirable, but not essential

Parcel Sorter Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
