Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Part-Time
Authorising Officer to join our team. The work is likely to be only
1-2 days a month (flexible, including evenings and weekends) to start
but increasing over time.
Main duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all CoS and Skilled
Worker applications.
Coordinate and schedule compliance
inspections with the Home Office.
Prepare necessary documentation
and evidence for the inspection.
Represent the organisation
during the inspection, addressing any concerns or questions raised by
the Home Office.
Ensure that the organisation's policies and
procedures are in compliance with immigration regulations.
Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
during the application process.
Communicate with applicants,
sponsors, and other relevant stakeholders to address concerns and
provide updates.
Monitor the progress of applications and provide
regular updates to sponsors.
Requirements:
Proven
experience as an Authorising Officer or in a similar role within the
immigration industry.
In-depth knowledge of UK immigration laws,
regulations, and procedures.
Strong understanding of Certificates
of Sponsorship and Skilled Worker visa categories.
Excellent
analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using
immigration management software
