Part-time Finance Director

• Sector:Multi-site hospitality
• Location: Central London (hybrid)
• Part- time – 3-4 days per week

The Finance Director will be involved with all elements of the business and key management decisions. You will be working in close partnership with the Managing Director. The Finance Director (supported by the business’ outsourced accountants) will be responsible for producing financial data for the directors and the operating team.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting
• Financial Modelling
• Revenue reporting
• Weekly flash P&L’s
• Management accounts
• Cash controls and banking reconciliations
• Payroll systems and controls
• Measuring performance and interpreting results
• Capex controls
• Relationship with the nominated bank
• Management of the finance department
• Ensuring that all financial matters are in accordance with legislation and ethical accounting practices, including: financial reporting compliance; Corporation Tax compliance; VAT compliance; PAYE compliance  

Candidate Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA)
• Prior relevant experience involving restaurant / bar financial management
• Excellent Communication Skills
• An ability to ‘think outside the box’ and explore opportunities which could contribute to commercial success
• An ability to motivate and develop team members
• Personally disciplined and the ability to work autonomously
