Partner - Datacentre Construction – no business required - 100% remote

We've been instructed by a boutique law firm on an unusual Partner level role, which requires no portable book of business.

Many of the firm's clients are datacentre businesses looking to build additional capacity, and the firm has enough work in this space to support an additional partner.

In order to be considered for this unusual opportunity you’ll be an seasoned non-contentious construction lawyer with experience assisting clients in the dynamic and rapidly growing datacentre industry.

Although no book of business is required for this day one Partner level role, you would be expected to have the willingness and ability to assist in growing the practice, and some existing client relationships likely to bring in additional work would be highly regarded. Demonstrable potential to nurture and grow productive client relationships is essential.

The firm is a values-driven business. This informs the way they work and their clients. A focus on ESG/sustainability is key; they're in the process of applying for Bcorp status, and are also looking to grow their legal capability in the renewable energy space.

This would be an exceptional opportunity for a datacentre construction-focused Senior Associate, Counsel, or Junior Partner frustrated at a more traditional (or indeed, similarly sized boutique) firm.
