Overview

Leads all aspects of strategic and operational partner/supplier/vendor management, including sourcing strategy, commercial negotiations, onboarding and offboarding, process/ways of work, in contract commercials, budgets, renewals, service escalations, service reviews and continual improvement.

 

 

Responsible for the contract design of supplier support services focusing on customer requirements and SLA definition along with AIS and periodical update and check of contracts are fitting for Nomad purpose.

 

Builds and maintains operational and strategic relationships with our partners and suppliers. Accountable for review and monitoring of supplier service levels and service quality at an account layer, working with Service Owners and Service Excellence.

 

 

Work with suppliers and partners to develop and pilot new innovations and/or improved services, following the appropriate budget and project approval process.

Responsibilities

Strategy & Commercials:

  • Creates and maintains a strategic supplier/partner plan and roadmap
  • Owns and maintains contract responsibility / deliverable matrix for all suppliers, working with Service Owners and Service Excellence to ensure Nomad receive the contracted services.
  • Maintains the contract structure in the service excellence contracts folder and is the facilitator for contractual information (e.g. Penalties, rewards, agreed baskets with provider, services in scope)
  • Build senior relationships with current and potential future suppliers and partners

Budget:

  • Owns the budget for each supplier relationship – including management of purchase orders and invoices.
  • Maintains a roadmap of all supplier contract renewals and owns the strategic and commercial aspects of supplier renewal and/or replacement (in conjunction with the relevant stakeholders)
  • Performs periodical review of service levels and triggers penalties/rewards agreed in contracts
  • Owns all budget risks and issues related to supplier service to completion.
  • Drives for cost savings and efficiencies across supplier base.

Operations:

  • Ensuring suppliers are operating in a controlled structure with processes designed and agreed.
  • Works with Service excellence manager to perform service and account reviews with all suppliers.
  • Ensures all suppliers understand and deliver against SOX and Audit compliance requitements.
  • Acts as senior escalation point into suppliers for both operational and project delivery issues.

Sourcing & Innovation:

  • For supplier/partner sourcing or re-contracting is the owner for RUN of all requirements and for the creation of any Service schedules / service agreements within the contract. Accountable for making sure Nomad receive the right level of service from any new or renewing supplier contact.
  • Maintain knowledge and market intelligence of current and potential future suppliers and current/potential future services.
  • Generate ideas for improvements / additions / reductions to current supplier services and/or potential services.
Qualifications

Essential:

 

  • ITIL Knowledge and certification (minimum Foundation certified)
  • Background/Focus in Contracts and engagements (RFP)
  • Background in Supplier Management and Service Level Managemen
  • Experience of Account manager responsibilities for coverage

 

Desirable:

 

  • Previous FMCG role(s)
  • Experience of operating in a regulated environment
