What skills do I need?

You must come from a housing background. You will be dealing with developers, LA's, contractors and all associated stakeholders so you need to have experience and knowledge of how the housing sector works to really excel in this position.

Planning requirements, legislation, health and safety and housing policy knowledge will also be vital for the role, but they are also crucially looking for someone that really buys into their ethos of that people first mentality. Someone who really cares about the business and the community and wants to offer the best service possible but also has the emotional intelligence to strike up a rapport with a diverse range of people and really get that 'buy in' from them.

You will be the face of the business, the person delivering our customer service so your ability to build these relationships needs to be of the highest standard.

So, what's the role involve?

Primarily, you'll join the partnerships team to cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring smooth collaboration on existing projects while fostering community trust and insight for future developments.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Daily management of relationships with partners such as social landlords, private developers, and local authorities
  • Identifying and pursuing new opportunities
  • Conducting market research and maintaining CRM records
  • Monitoring framework and tender opportunities
  • Coordinating tender bids and attending regional partnership events
  • Facilitating internal communication on partnership initiatives
  • Addressing contractor queries and managing associated administrative tasks
