Partnerships Manager | Augmented Reality Studio

Flexible/Distributed working (WFH and office both available)

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to help drive the future success of Zappar’s award-winning AR creative studio. Our creative team create best-in-class AR experiences for partners like LEGOLAND, Nestle, Unilever, and PepsiCo, and the Partnerships Manager role is critical to helping us deepen our relationship with existing partners as well as bring new clients into the business.


What you’ll be doing

  1. Using your 5 years+ of relevant industry experience to help grow the revenue for Zappar’s award-winning creative studio by partnering with a wide range of existing and new clients (which consist of both brands-direct and various agencies) on their AR strategy.
  2. This hybrid role will see you manage a range of accounts and prospect new clients to generate your own new business pipeline.
  3. Working with the Sales Director to define target industry verticals, buyer personas and methods of outreach to win new business.
  4. Building your own profile and that of Zappar within the industry via face-to-face client and agency meetings, promoting and hosting webinars/events when required.
  5. Managing your accounts to ensure effective pitching, closing deals, overseeing the production process and delivering post-campaign reviews.
  6. Maintaining excellent CRM rigour and noting all interactions to ensure the broader team is aware of all communications and opportunities.

A few things about you

  1. 5 years plus successful commercial/new business experience from within the creative/digital industry (creative solutions, immersive, mobile, digital creative solutions).
  2. You’re comfortable selling customised creative solutions (each AR strategy is different, and there isn’t a “menu” of options to pick from).
  3. You’re a creative and strategic thinker.
  4. Proven success at building sales pipelines from scratch.
  5. Experience pitching to and building relationships and closing deals with key decision-makers.
  6. Experience in educating clients on new technologies.
  7. Experience in structuring and negotiating complex deals.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both in writing and presentation (face-to-face and online).
  9. Strong account management with the ability to oversee the creative development process (which is managed by our in-house Production department).
  10. Analytical thinking and ability to analyse and present post-campaign results.
  11. You’re well-connected with creative agencies and/or brands.

Working arrangements

Zappar has a lovely, dog-friendly office in Chiswick, southwest London. Since the pandemic, however, we have run a ‘work where you work best’ policy so you can work remotely full-time if you wish. Most staff now work from home 5 days per week, and we have no plans to change this policy which has been hugely successful.

We hold a summer and winter party every year and we love for people to attend if feasible. In addition, team leaders are encouraged to hold events and meetups to encourage strong interpersonal relationships.
