Illig Group is Europe's leading designer, developer and manufacturer of advanced, high-performance thermoforming systems. Illig UK is supporting thermoforming machines and sell spare parts in the UK and Ireland. The role might require some international travel.
We are looking for a Parts Sales Representative to join our busy, growing and friendly team on a full time, permanent basis. This is a rewarding job where we respond to issues customers are having and find solutions for their needs. The role might be suitable for someone who is looking to start their working life following college or apprenticeship completion.
It could be the beginning of your
exciting career in engineering or sales with a possibility of career
progression within the company over time. Full training will be
provided.
In this office based role, you will report to the
Service Manager within a department dealing with spare parts sales and
purchases. The job offers variety, exposure to different systems and
you get to work for a company where you feel valued and feel a part of
the team. We have an established customer base and we have built a
good working relationship with
them.
Responsibilities of Parts Sales
Representative
- Ensuring all the relevant information is provided by the customer to correctly assess which part is required
- Answering technical queries both via email and telephone that customers' may have
- Maintain accurate records and files within spare parts department
- Be responsible for the processing of sales orders from receipt to final dispatch
- Re-ordering of stock
- Day-to-day general tasks of the spare parts department and business
- Receive, process and ship customer orders
- Liaising with transport companies to track and locate parcels
- Maintain computer records for the reordering, pricing and supply of spare parts
- Attend meetings and report as required

Hours:
- 37 hours per week
- Monday – Thursday 8:45am – 5pm
- Early finish Friday 8:45 – 4.30pm
- 45 min lunch break
Salary:
From £22,500 per annum + commission on sales, 28
days holiday plus bank holidays, 5% pension, free parking, cash health
