About Cameron IP

Cameron IP is a progressive firm of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys serving a global client base, particularly in the UK and USA. Our team works across a variety of office and home locations (including Glasgow, London, Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Staffordshire), and we have an emphasis on flexible working, to benefit our staff and clients.

We are one of the few IP Firms to hold the ISO 9001 accreditation for quality management, meaning that we focus continually on Firm development and improvement, and that this is structured into our processes.

Our ethos is centered on building the trust of our people, our clients and our partners. To do this, we follow five guiding principles that help us to be ethical, high-performing and a pleasure to work with. These are: integrity, excellence, flexibility, efficiency and responsiveness.

Our firm has a particular focus on the “IP for better” principle, meaning that we aim to use our knowledge, actions and connections in the IP area to bring benefit to society as a whole and the environment.

About The Role

Due to sustained growth in our client portfolio, we are seeking to grow our Attorney team with the addition of a qualified Patent Attorney specialising in Chemistry. All post-qualification levels of experience (up to partner-level) will be considered. We will consider all different working patterns and the role could be a full or part-time candidate. The role will be autonomous, and you will manage your own portfolio of clients, including one of our key clients.

There is a real opportunity for growth in the role, depending on your own career aspirations. We will be flexible in defining the right path for career growth for you depending on your own goals, recognising that one size does not fit all in terms of professional development.

There will be an opportunity for foreign travel in this role, to the extent that you would like to pursue this. We are conscious that travel, whilst favoured by some, can be less desirable for others.
