A premier international law firm, renowned for its innovative approach and expertise in intellectual property, is seeking a talented Patent Attorney with a focus on Technology. The Role:

As a Patent Attorney in our Technology team, you will work alongside some of the brightest minds in the field, handling a diverse range of matters for an impressive roster of clients. The role is ideally suited for someone with NQ to 5 years PQE, looking to advance their career in a vibrant and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice on a range of technology-related patent matters, including patent prosecution, strategic IP counselling, and IP due diligence.
  • Work closely with clients ranging from startups to multinational corporations, offering tailored solutions to protect and enhance their intellectual property.
  • Engage in drafting and prosecuting patent applications, managing patent portfolios, and advising on patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-border teams on international patent strategies and contentious matters.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development and thought leadership in the field of technology patents.

Candidate Profile:

  • A UK or European qualified Patent Attorney with NQ to 5 years PQE.
  • Specialisation in technology, particularly in areas such as software, electronics, or telecommunications.
  • A strong technical background, ideally with a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice.
  • A collaborative team player, with a proactive approach to professional development.
