Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Safety and Quality Team at St Peters as the Band 7 Team Manger.

The post holder will be a highly visible, enthusiastic professional, who has a (strong emphasis on) passion for patient safety and continuous quality improvement.

You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of strategy, and implementation of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework, alongside managing and developing our small Patient Safety and Quality Team.

We are looking for an proactive, organised individual, with strong management and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have experience and expertise  in patient safety, system-based approaches, quality improvement and clinical governance.

This is a really exciting time to join the hospice as we develop our clinical quality improvement team and implement PSIRF. In return, we are able to offer:

  • Band 7 equivalent salary from £44,100 up to £50,566 (FTE) per annum, dependant on experience
  • Continual professional development
  • Based at the Hospice in Brentry and in the community
  • Permanent position

You will be required to have a driving licence and access your own transport for work purposes.

Due to the nature of the work involved, this role is exempt from the ROA and the jobholder will be required to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service Check.

St Peter's Hospice is a well-loved hospice that provides extensive inpatient and community services, in Bristol and the surrounding areas. Every year St Peter's Hospice makes a difference in the lives of thousands of patients and their families when it matters most.
