Job Title: Payroll & Benefits Administrator (Associate)

Contract Type:  12-month fixed-term contract

Location: London, St Pauls

Department: Human Resources

Reporting to: Head of Benefits and Payroll

Summary of our opportunity

We are seeking a senior administrator who is comfortable to work with various key business stakeholders and the wider Human Resources team to assist in the management of ICGs global payroll and benefit processes. This role requires strong experience of payroll (preferably on an international scale) together with an understanding of the day to day running of benefit products.

You will be fulfilling an administrative role supporting the Head of Benefits and Payroll in London with payroll and benefit matters. This role is primary support for the Payroll Manager but also our Benefits Manager who are both based in our London office. This role will require meticulous attention to detail and a significant respect for operational processes. The roles requires a good level of team collaboration as well as the ability to work with autonomy.

Primary Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure smooth end to end process of  all global payroll outputs.

  • Proactively share specialist payroll advice to the wider HR team.

  • Assist the Payroll Manager with all year end reporting – including P60s/ P11D/PSA and all other statutory requirements across the globe.

  • Process monthly reconciliation reports required by the finance department and third party auditors.

  • Deal with and resolve payroll queries in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and share data files of employee information to international 3rd party providers, where this is not already automated.

  • Collaborate with the wider team on projects that are directly linked to the Payroll and Benefit functions.

  • Assist the Payroll Manager with processing the full lifecycle of employees (including leaver, joiner and transfer processes).

  • Maintain high quality processes and propose efficiency improvements, where applicable.

  • Apply prior payroll knowledge to improve the administration and communication of policies and protocol in multiple jurisdictions.

  • Invoice reconciliation for payroll and benefit providers/ products and service. Ensure all are processed and closed in timely manner.

  • Assist with the running of the Reward Inbox, together with the support of the rest of the team.

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

You will have demonstrable experience of: 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ related experience in payroll and benefits administration

  • Computer literate – proficient with Microsoft Programmes

  • Strong operational knowledge of payroll and related benefit policies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Experience with Workday (or similar) - advantageous

  • Experience of working in a global environment – advantageous
