We currently have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Plating Line Operator within our growing Plating Team.
In a nutshell, you will be responsible for:
Working in a department to service the plating of brass components for kitchen and bathroom products. Working to a higher than industry standard in quality. We have 4 plating lines that offer 8 different surface finishes.
What you are already great at:
- Jig/unjig and load/unload plant as required.
- Maintaining quality standards
- Identify record and pack components as required.
- Organise product for processing to ensure timely processing of trays and effective utilisation of plant.
- Recognise and report variations on process parameters.
- Make and record process additions and process maintenance as required.
- Undertake all work in accordance with work instruction sheets and standard process procedures and operations.
- Complete production and technical records as required.
- Conduct regular plant process and procedure audits / inspections.
- Recognise, rectify, or report any trends in rejects and other quality issues.
- Carry out the planned maintenance as and when required.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards.
For this role we would need you to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a fast-paced plating department, ideally working with Chrome and Nickel surface finishes.
- Knowledge of plating plant maintenance.
