Overview of job

As the Partnerships Manager for Podcasts, you'll take the helm on account management for the DAX Podcast portfolio, nurturing and sustaining long-term strategic partnerships aligned with the DAX strategy.

This role bridges the world of podcasts, overseeing the account management of Global's podcast partners, encompassing independent podcasters, global publishers, and our award-winning originals line-up; a portfolio exceeding 700 shows.

This position requires a highly proactive approach, making it an ideal fit for individuals who thrive on client interactions and who are fuelled by delivering outstanding results.

Measures of success – 

In the first few months, you would have:
  • Cultivated Strong Partner Connections : You will have built excellent working relationships with our vital content partners, establishing consistent and productive contact opportunities.

  • Partnership Development : You will have played a pivotal role by assisting the Group Business Development Manager in presenting pitches for new content partnership opportunities, showcasing your value in expanding our network.

  • Contractual Mastery : Gained an in-depth understanding of our key partners and the highly individual contractual terms in place, contributing to the overall partnership success through your extensive knowledge.

Responsibilities of the role
  • Cultivate Dynamic Partner Relationships : Foster and nurture strong relationships with our content partners, conducting routine business reviews and positioning yourself as their go-to contact at Global.

  • Facilitate Seamless Onboarding : Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for our new partners. Working in close collaboration with the DAX Supply Operations Manager, you’ll maintain consistent communication and ensure all key partners within DAX have the information they need to make the partnership a success.

  • Champion Our Partners Internally : Advocate for our partners within Global, ensuring partners are considered for commercial briefs and relevant promotional opportunities.

  • Navigate Partner Troubleshooting : As the point person for partner troubleshooting, organise and mobilise the relevant teams within Global to promptly address any challenges or issues that may arise.

  • Contract Management : Maintain record of contract renewal dates, kicking off renewal discussions with key internal partners. Play a key role in developing contract renewal strategies.

  • Strategic Collaboration : Collaborate regularly with the Global Originals team to align on their content pipeline, share insights, and explore new opportunities.

  • Industry Networking : Build and maintain an active network of industry contacts, fostering new relationships that will help us to achieve our business goals.

  • Market Mastery : Develop a deep understanding of the ever-evolving podcast landscape. Leverage this knowledge and expertise to cultivate deeper partner relationships and provide valuable insights to enhance our partners' podcast strategies.

  • Operational Support : Occasionally assist the DAX Supply Operations Manager in generating partner revenue statements and managing invoice processing, as required.
