Postgraduate Research Finance Officer

£26,444 - £29,605 (dep on
exp)
Full-time, Permanent
We are
recruiting for a Postgraduate Research Finance Officer who will
partner with internal and external stakeholders in providing expert
advice and guidance across all post award tasks and activities for
postgraduate research awards within a designated, non-fixed
portfolio.
You will support all operations for post award
deliverables and tasks within an assigned portfolio of postgraduate
awards and you will attend review meetings to ensure that costs
charged are eligible within the terms and conditions of the award. You
will provide forecasting and budget advice, support financial
oversight across each portfolio.
You will hold or be studying
towards a CCAB accountancy qualification (or equivalent), have
experience working within a finance environment, be able to
communicate across all levels including senior, you’ll have excellent
IT skills and intermediate Excel skills including prior experience
using Oracle Financials and you should have strong numeracy skills
with excellent attention to detail.
