The Company

They are looking for a Pre Construction Manager who can enthusiastically and passionately work with their clients and colleagues to deliver Perfection at Pace.

The Opportunity

As a Pre-Construction Manager, you'll have a number of years experience in the design & build industry, perhaps as a Project or Contract Manager, with a keen eye for detail, with an ability to foresee potential issues and a comprehensive understanding of technical aspects of the construction process. You'll be capable of driving and leading the pre-construction phase of a project life cycle, be client facing and able to competently manage both internal and external stakeholders. You won't shy away from a challenge, will identify and navigate risks, and will relish finding opportunities for improvement and problem solving.

You'll be responsible for leading pre-contract administration & project management activities and deliver multiple projects simultaneously. This will include managing the development of budgets, quality provisioning, project strategy, planning, aligning commercial proposition, and tracking both pre-construction, design and construction programme activities. Communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. You will be managing both internal and external stakeholders, supply chain partner engagement to explore best value opportunities, client side consultants communications and direct communications with key accounts. You'll also have a good understanding and awareness of industry regulations, including H&S responsibilities, and a good working understanding of JCT based contracts.
