Pay Rate: 14.50-16 per hour

Igloo has a fantastic opportunity for automotive preppers to work in the Thurleigh area of Bedfordshire. Successful candidates will work on behalf of our client, a leading finished vehicle logistics company with locations across the UK, specialising in new and used vehicle preparation, logistics, and secure storage for the automotive industry.

The Role:

As a prepper, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Fully preparing vehicles before painting.
• Conducting small to medium filler work to repair body panels.
• Sanding panels.
• Bagging and masking vehicles to expose only the areas that need painting.
• Priming panels for paint.
• Preparing individual parts and panels, such as bumpers and bonnets, including sanding, priming, and placing on racks for paint sprayers.

What kind of person are we looking for?

• Previous experience working in an automotive body shop, comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of vehicle repair methods.
• Reliability and good time management skills.
• Possession of a full category B driving licence.
